Grand piano - action rebuilding (specialty)
3 weeks
• Hammer hanging, ITF analysis (Fandrich-Rhodes Inertial Touch Factor), choosing appropriate hammers, weighting, boring, tailing, gluing, pre- voicing, regulation, fitting, voicing.
• Start to finish
• Ear tuning: 2 hrs a day

Practicing, experience
Students are expected to practice skills for at least the same amount of time after each course... (at a workshop) before they start the next course.

Grand pianos - Voicing (specialty)
1 week
• Voicing, false beats, plate & sound board modifiers, string fitting, evaluating sound
